The grapes for Prado Enea are always the last to arrive at the winery and are selected from plots and vineyards located in the northwest of La Rioja Alta, in the municipalities of Sajazarra, Cellorigo, and Fonzaleche. These vineyards are situated between 550 and 600 meters above sea level, with clay-limestone soil. Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano.
Hand-harvested. The grapes are fermented in oak vats without temperature control or added yeast. Maceration for 16 days. Aged for a minimum of 36 months in French and American oak barrels. Once aging is complete, the wine is lightly clarified with fresh egg whites before being bottled and stored in our cellars for at least another 36 months.
