The 2015 Laville has a commendable honeyed, barley sugar-tinged nose that shows respectable concentration. The palate is rounded and honeyed in the mouth, very pure with hints of almond and peach infusing the honeyed finish, which leads into a spicy aftertaste. This is a pleasant surprise from a Sauternes I am not familiar with.
