The dark and almost opaque 2018 Ribera de los Naranjos is a multi-grape blend of Mencía, Garnacha Tintorera, Sousón and Tempranillo that fermented with 20% full clusters in oak vats and matured in new 500-liter French oak barrels. It is ripe without excess and has a creamy, dense and luxurious profile that makes it closer to the international style of reds. It has the Atlantic freshness of the varieties and the vintage, but it's juicy and impressive, a wine to have with powerful food to match its powerful rusticity. 6,667 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2020.
