Dedicado Chardonnay 2024 | Finca Flichman | Mendoza

The winery was built in 1873 by Sami Flichman, a Jewish immigrant of Polish origin who planted vines at Barrancas, beside the Mendoza river, in Maipú. It is one of the earliest dates in modern Mendoza wine. The current name only arrived in 1910, when the family business became Finca Flichman.

Today it covers some four hundred hectares split between that founding area of Barrancas and Tupungato, in the Uco Valley, which is where the Chardonnay we carry comes from. Malbec remains the backbone, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc around it.

In 1998 it was bought by the Portuguese group Sogrape, which replanted vineyards and overhauled the winery. The house founded by an immigrant in the nineteenth century ended up, a hundred and twenty-five years later, in Portuguese hands.
