From the vineyards of Finca Iscorta that are over 50 years old. Manual harvest in boxes of 15 kilos. 100% Viura.

Selection table where the grapes that do not exceed the highest quality are eliminated, thus ensuring that the grapes reach the press whole. Once in the press, and after a gentle drain, a highly complex must is obtained that will end up in new American oak barrels, where it will undergo alcoholic fermentation for a month, receiving daily battonages. After fermentation and after racking, it will remain in the same barrel for 2 more months before being bottled to achieve the desired balance between fruit and wood.

The oaky white 2020 Chobeo de Peciña Blanco is more unctuous than the unoaked white and has some textured tannins. It's pure Viura with 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.04 and 6.15 grams of acidity that fermented in new American oak barrels where the wine matured for a couple of months. It has abundant spicy and smoky notes and a core of white flowers and fruit. It's medium-bodied and has flavors reminiscent of the notes on the nose, spicy and fruity, dry and with an austere finish. 5,000 bottles were filled in July 2021.
