André Clouet is a Récoltant-Manipulant based in Bouzy, on the Montagne de Reims, farming 9 hectares of chalk and clay soils on the village's most prized middle slopes — a vineyard entirely classified Grand Cru. The V6 Experience is a Blanc de Noirs built exclusively from Pinot Noir, and the name encodes its defining characteristic: a minimum of six years, or 72 months, of ageing on secondary lees before disgorgement.
The blend combines 80% base wine rested on lees for between 72 and 90 months with 20% drawn from a perpetual solera reserve, itself composed solely of Pinot Noir from Bouzy. Dosage is set at 5 g/L, using a liqueur prepared from barrel-aged Chardonnay and refined sugar, leaving the wine with a precise, restrained sweetness. The mousse is compact and persistent, and the extended lees contact — the key differentiator above the estate's Grande Réserve — delivers the toasty, biscuity autolytic depth associated with prestige-tier Champagne.
