Peter & Peter is the regional label of Zimmermann-Graeff & Müller (ZGM), a historic Weinkellerei founded in 1886 by Jacob Zimmermann in Zell an der Mosel, at the heart of the Mittelmosel. One of the valley's long-established négociant houses, ZGM works with around 1,000 regional growers to assemble wines that reflect the character of the broader Mosel appellation. The Peter & Peter range represents the accessible, terroir-driven tier of that portfolio.

The grapes for this Riesling come from the steep blue-slate slopes around Zell, in the Terrassenmosel stretch of the Mittelmosel, where the high-gradient hillsides are worked by hand. Feinherb in style, it carries roughly 22–26 g/L of residual sugar, kept in check by the Mosel's characteristically bright, racy acidity, with a modest 11% alcohol and QbA classification. The profile runs to ripe apple, lime, white flowers, and peach, with a mineral slate undercurrent; the palate is lively and refreshing, the sweetness delicate rather than heavy — a combination that earned the wine a Gold Medal at the Berlin Wine Trophy for a recent vintage.
