Domaine Maurice Schoech has been rooted in the vineyards of Ammerschwihr, Alsace, since 1650, with the current estate shaped by Jean-Léon and Sébastien Schoech since 1971. Their 11 hectares place 70% of plantings on prime hillside positions, including 4 hectares across three Grand Cru sites — Kaefferkopf, Mambourg, and Rangen de Thann — with certification organic since 2014. Cuvée Justin draws from hillside parcels around Ammerschwihr planted on sandy-granitic to clay-limestone soils, ideal ground for Pinot Gris of real depth and character.

Vinified in the traditional Alsace manner, this 2019 Pinot Gris benefits from one of the warmest and most generous vintages the region has seen, delivering a full-bodied, richly textured wine that opens with aromas of quince, ripe apricot, honey, dried ginger, and a whisper of smoke.
