Vineyard located in the town of Ammerschwihr, on a south-facing slope with granite soil. 100% Pinot gris.
Harvested by hand. Soft pressing and fermentation in barrels for 2 months. Aged for 8 months in 2-year-old barrels.

A generous and enticing dry pinot gris with aromas of ripe mirabelle, cooked pear and a hint of fine patisserie. On the palate these notes are augmented by caramel, candied citrus peel and a hint of tobacco leaf, but the whole composition remains calm and restrained. Long, silky finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
