The Jura vineyard is one of the oldest in France. After phylloxera appeared in 1865 and reduced the original 20,000 ha to today's 1,800, the vineyard was re-established through grafting onto American rootstocks. It is now divided into four appellations: Arbois, Côtes du Jura, L'Étoile and Château-Châlon. 100% Savagnin. This wine is presented in the distinctive Clavelin bottle (62 cl), with its characteristic wide shoulders, designed specifically for Vin Jaune.

Harvested at the limit of over-ripeness. As the wine rests in the barrel, a yeast veil — the voile — forms on the surface and gradually transforms the character of the wine into Vin Jaune. Aged in barrel without topping up for a minimum of 6 years.

Este vino proviene de la región del Jura, Francia, específicamente de la denominación Côtes du Jura. Se elabora en una botella especial llamada "Clavelin" con capacidad de 62 cl. La uva se cosecha al límite de la sobremaduración y luego se fermenta sin rellenar durante seis años en barricas, donde un velo de levadura transforma el vino hasta convertirlo en Vin Jaune.
