100% Albariño from 40–70-year-old vines on granitic sandy soils across Meaño, Sanxenxo and Barro in Val do Salnés, Rías Baixas. Fifth-generation winemaker Rodrigo Méndez takes his name from the oak grove — Leirana — that surrounds the estate's parcels.
Fermented with indigenous yeasts in old oak foudres and stainless steel. Aged 8 months on fine lees without stirring. No malolactic fermentation.
