In Vaucluse, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Gigondas vineyard has an exceptional ancestral vocation for wine. From these steep and sunny hills are born wines with character, powerful and complex. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault.
Manual harvest. This Gigondas was aged in oak barrels following a traditional method.
PARKER: 93 - 95
The co-op's top cuvée, the 2017 Gigondas Signature is 80% Grenache and 10% each Mourvèdre and Syrah. It's full-bodied and supple on the mid-palate, showcasing ripe cherries and dried spices, then turns tannic and chewy on the finish. Very promising.
