Gigondas la Cave

It is not a domaine: it is the village cooperative, set up in 1956 at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.

It brings together 76 growers and makes the wine from all of their fruit.

Out of it come Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes de Venise and its muscat, as well as Côtes du Rhône, Villages and IGP wines.

Signature is a Gigondas of grenache, syrah, mourvèdre and cinsault, from the slopes and the heights at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the limestone ridges that give the appellation its character.

It is picked by hand and aged in oak barrel.
