Domaine Sirugue Père et Fils traces its roots in Couchey, in the northern Côte de Nuits, to the Pansiot family farm of the late 17th century; the GAEC was formally established in 1976, and today the estate is run by cousins Guillaume (taking the lead in 2019) and Julien Sirugue — fourth and fifth generation of the same family line — across 13 hectares in Couchey, Fixin, Brochon, Marsannay and Gevrey-Chambertin. The Fixin vines grow on the clay-limestone soils typical of the appellation, farmed under lutte raisonnée principles, with partial destemming and a proportion of whole clusters retained to preserve aromatic complexity.
Aged in oak barrels, prioritising terroir expression over extraction.
