Domaine de Rosiers (Drevon), AOP Côte-Rôtie, Ampuis (Northern Rhône). Produced for three generations; in 2013 Maxime Gourdain took over from his grandfather André Drevon and his uncle Louis Drevon, whose name the label keeps. 98% Syrah, 2% Viognier.
Hand-harvested, destemmed and crushed. Aged in barrels (25% new). Production of 15,000–20,000 bottles per year.

Este tinto proviene de la denominación de origen Côte-Rôtie, ubicada en Ampuis, al norte del Ródano, en Francia. La bodega Domaine de Rosiers lleva tres generaciones en producción. Desde 2013, Maxime Gourdain sucedió a su abuelo André y a su tío Louis Drevon, quienes figuran en la etiqueta. La uva empleada es principalmente Syrah (98%), con un 2% de Viognier.
La elaboración sigue métodos tradicionales: la vendimia es manual, seguida de despalillado y estrujado. El vino se cría en barrica, utilizando un 25% de madera nueva. La producción anual se sitúa entre 15.000 y 20.000 botellas.

The estate is in Ampuis, in Côte-Rôtie, and has been in the same family for three generations. In 2013 Maxime Gourdain took over from his grandfather André Drevon and his uncle Louis Drevon. The Drevon name is still on the label: it is not a tribute to former owners, it is his own house.
A little over eight hectares, spread across the lieux-dits of Ampuis: Marsanne, Fongeant, Côte-Bodin, Côte-Rozier, Rozier and Besset. Eight hectares in six separate places gives a sense of how Côte-Rôtie works, where the vineyard is held up on narrow terraces over very steep slopes.
New wines appeared with Maxime in charge: the first Condrieu is from the 2014 vintage and the first IGP Collines Rhodaniennes from 2016.
The estate gained HVE certification in 2020 and began conversion to organic in 2021.
