Domaine Maillard Père et Fils

The Maillards have grown vines in Burgundy since 1766, but the house did not settle in Chorey-lès-Beaune until 1952: one hundred and eighty-six years working vineyards before arriving where it is today. It was Daniel Maillard who created the estate there.

He began with a few plots of his own and today there are nineteen hectares spread across Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Ladoix-Serrigny, Aloxe-Corton, Pommard, Meursault and Volnay. Eight villages for nineteen hectares.

Pascal Maillard, Daniel's son and the tenth generation, runs it. They farm sustainably and make everything from village wines up to Corton.
