From vineyards between 70 and 100 years old, from the El Negral, La Parada, La Majada and El Velero plots, located on a hillside with little slope. The soils are composed of clay and sand in depth, with a lot of pebbles on the surface. 100% Tempranillo.

Aging for 14 months in oak barrels.

PARKER: 91+

The 2007 Cesar Principe is also 100% Tempranillo sourced from 2 single vineyards with 60+ years of age. It was aged for 16 months in new, mostly French oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it sports an already complex aromatic array of Asian spices, violets, espresso, mineral, black cherry, and blackberry that jumps from the glass. Dense, ripe, and plush on the palate, it is able to combine power with elegance. It has plenty of succulence, impeccable balance, and a lengthy, pure finish. It will be at its best from 2013 to 2027.

vinaris: 93

This César Príncipe 2007 has evolved really well, a pleasant surprise. Tasted in magnum (which makes the wine evolve more slowly in the bottle), this Tempranillo is now in all its fullness, on the nose it gives off abundant tertiary notes, ripe, silky ... a delight. We hope to age just as well.
