Domaine Éric et Joël Durand

We let you know when a new wine arrives or drops in price.

The winery is run by two brothers, Éric and Joël Durand. Some twenty hectares in the communes of Châteaubourg and Glun, at the southern end of the Saint-Joseph and Cornas appellations.

The vineyard lies on steep granite hillsides on the right bank of the Rhône, and part of the white grapes are planted on calcareous foothills: that is where the white Saint-Joseph and the Saint-Péray come from.

The only red variety in the house is syrah, across every one of their reds. In white they work marsanne, roussanne and viognier.

They make wine in three Rhône crus: Saint-Joseph in red and white, Cornas and Saint-Péray. Their Cornas vines are between twenty and thirty years old on granite soil.
