Zinnkoepfle Sinneles 2015 | Riesling | Domaine Eric Romminger
El Zinnkoepflé está ubicado en la parte central y más ancha del campo de fracturas Rouffach-Guebwiller, detrás de la franja este de las colinas Strangenberg y Bollenberg. Formada por formaciones areniscas y calizas.
From limestone and loamy sandstone soils in terraced vineyards, Rominger's 2015 Riesling Zinnkoepfle Les Sinneles displays a very clear, deep and intense but subtle, initially just discreetly aromatic bouquet; it delivers sweet herbal and nutty flavors, as well as super ripe and dried white seed fruit and honeydew melon flavors. However, the wine needs a lot of time to open up without being particularly reductive on the nose. Full-bodied, pretty rich and intense, with a certain sweetness but a rigorous minerality, this is a powerful yet very elegant and even finessed Riesling. The charming sweetness of 11 grams is still a bit prominent for purists like me, but will be very helpful in 10 or 20 years. The wine has a firm phenolic structure and a fine salinity, and is surely a long-distance runner. Zinnkoepflé fans shouldn't miss it.
