Harvest by hand in boxes of 15Kg. After destemming and crushing, thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days. Malolactic fermentation is carried out 100% in American barrels. Aging between 9 and 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

COLOR: cereza intenso

AROMA: fruta madura, hierbas secas, roble cremoso, hierbas de monte

BOCA: potente, fruta madura, taninos maduros

After some ups and downs, the 2016 Cepas Viejas seems to be recovering the quality of yesteryear. The oak is much better integrated, the fruit is at the forefront, the aromas are clean and the texture is fine, with round tannins and very tasty flavors. It's good to see this wine coming back to what it once was. 120,000 bottles produced.

vinaris: 90+

It is a classic wine (if we can apply the adjective here), perhaps somewhat rustic, which softens over time. It is produced in 60 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 60 years.

I hereby confirm I am above 18 years old
