This Laroche Premier Cru comes from 2.44 hectares. 70-year-old vines planted on a slope facing south and west, well protected from north winds, Fourchaumes is one of the most beautiful vineyards in the domain. 100% Chardonnay
Manual harvest. Classification at the entrance of the warehouse. Fermentation in French oak barrels (228L, 400L and 600L from 1 to 7 years) and in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 9 months in the same containers on fine lees. After the coupage, a new aging will take place on fine lees for about 8 months.

The 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourchaumes Vieilles Vignes wafts from the glass with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, orange oil, pastry cream, vanilla pod and light reduction. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, it's girdled by bright acids and framed by chalky structuring extract.
